ETS 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7 Front Mount Intercooler

This ETS front-mount intercooler is built for a 1993–1995 FD RX-7 that needs better charge-air control at elevated boost. The wide bar-and-plate core fills the bumper opening and provides substantially more cooling capacity than the smaller cores commonly used in older RX-7 kits. On ETS development testing, the larger core reduced charge temperatures and helped control coolant temperature during repeated high-boost pulls.

Choosing the Core

• 3.5-inch: The better fit for most street and moderate-power combinations where response and packaging still matter.
• 4-inch: Adds thermal capacity for a higher-output setup that will generate more sustained heat.

Fitment and Construction

• 24 × 9-inch bar-and-plate core
• Available in 3.5- or 4-inch thickness
• Works with USDM and JDM fog-light arrangements
• Available in a bare silver finish or multiple anodized colors
• Optional ETS stencil

Installation requires removal of the factory bumper support and cutting of the core support. This is not a no-cut bolt-on installation. Select the thickness around the actual power and heat load of the car, then choose anodizing and stencil options for appearance.
