Upgrade your Subaru’s fuel system without giving up the factory fuel pump control strategy. The iWire Dual Fuel Pump Controller Hardwire Kit is designed specifically for EJ-platform Subarus using a Radium dual-pump fuel hanger, providing a clean and reliable solution for powering and controlling both fuel pumps.

Rather than simply running both pumps at full power all the time, this kit retains the factory Fuel Pump Controller operation for the primary pump. This allows the ECU to continue using the factory low, medium, and high pump-speed settings, helping maintain stable fuel pressure and drivability during idle and normal cruising.

For higher fuel demand, the secondary pump can be activated using an optional manifold pressure switch. As boost increases, the second pump comes online to provide the additional fuel volume needed for higher-horsepower applications.

Designed for the Radium Dual Pump Hanger

The Radium hanger does not use the factory Subaru fuel pump connector, so installing one normally requires additional wiring and fabrication. iWire designed this kit to make the conversion as straightforward as possible.

The kit provides the necessary wiring for both the primary and secondary fuel pumps along with an adapter jumper for connecting the factory fuel level and fuel temperature circuits to the studs on the Radium hanger.

The result is a purpose-built installation without having to piece together generic relays, fuses, terminals, and wiring.

Important Compatibility Information

The DeatschWerks X2 Dual Pump Hanger is not compatible with this kit. The DW X2 does not provide an independent ground for each fuel pump, which prevents the pumps from being controlled separately as required by this system.

iWire also generally does not recommend using 500+ LPH fuel pumps with the factory-style Fuel Pump Controller configuration. Extremely high-flow pumps may require an alternative fuel pump control solution.

If your vehicle is equipped with an iWire Battery Relocation Kit, an additional iWire Hardwire Kit-to-Battery-Relocation adapter cable may be required.
